Executive Chairman

As Executive Chairman of Liberty Group, Mr. Shah is responsible for the strategic governance of the company as well as serving on the Board of Directors for Liberty Group's private equity investments.

Since founding the Liberty Group in 1980, Mr. Shah has led the company in more than $425,000,000 in commercial real estate investments throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. Mr. Shah earned a degree in Credit and Collections by the Canadian Credit Institute from the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive of Liberty Group, Mr. Shah maintains overall executive control over the investment and management divisions of the company, and manages Liberty Group's private equity investments. Mr. Shah is an alumnus of Boston University where he now serves on the Board of Directors and established the Punit & Carla Shah Family scholarship. Mr. Shah has also attended the Harvard University Economics Honors program, and Political Science and Real Estate Development programs at Cornell University and Emory University.

Mr. Shah is a member of YPO Florida, and has served on the Global Board of the Intercontinental Hotels Group Owner's Association. His honors include receiving the Florida's Governor's Enterprise award, Florida Business Review “Under 40” and Entrepreneur of the Year awards, named as 25 People to Watch in Florida, and Boston University Alumni of the Year award. 

Richard Henrikson

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer of Liberty Group,  Mr. Henrikson maintains overall managerial control over Liberty Hospitality Management, with operational and financial responsibility for hotels throughout the United States. Mr. Henrikson is an award-winning Certified Hotel Administrator with significant experience operating Intercontinental, Starwood, Marriott, and Hilton hotels and has served on the owner advisory board of Intercontinental Hotels Group. 

With more than four decades of proven hotel industry experience, Mr. Henrikson previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations for GF Hotels, which has operated 500 hotels nationally, and as Executive Vice President at Lane (now Spire) Hospitality, which has operated 100 hotels nationally.

Dina Lomago

Sales & Marketing

As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Liberty Group, Ms. Lomagno oversees the sales and marketing efforts at all hotels throughout the company portfolio. Ms. Lomagno's background includes nearly 20 years of combined experience at Ritz-Carlton and Biltmore hotels in senior sales and marketing leadership positions through the United States. 

A graduate of Florida State University College of Business, Ms. Lomagno serves on the Board of Directors for numerous organizations including Women in Tourism and the National Association of Professional Women, and was a finalist for Tampa Bay Businesswoman of the Year in 2008.

Carla Shah

Revenue Management

As the Corporate Director of Revenue Management of Liberty Group, Ms. Shah is responsible to oversee all brand revenue managers across the Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, Intercontinental, and Wyndham brands in the Liberty Group portfolio.

Ms. Shah has more than 12 years of hospitality experience with Kimpton, Starwood, and Ritz-Carlton hotels throughout the United States.

Ms. Shah graduated with summa cum laude honors from the School of Hospitality at Boston University and was recently named as the Young Alumni of the Year. 

Matthew Ram

Matthew Ram

Investment and Asset Manager

As the Investment and Asset Manager of Liberty Group, Mr. Ram is responsible for asset and investment management of Liberty Group's private equity fund and programmatic investments, and works with the hotel management team to ensure terminal operational performance is achieved in each of Liberty Group's portfolio investments.

Mr. Ram is also responsible for asset management of Shah Family Office investments, and has extensive financial experience with Wells Fargo, Convergent Capital, and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Mr. Ram earned Bachelors degree in Finance from the University of South Florida. 

Steven Ware

Senior Controller

As the Senior Controller of Liberty Group, Mr. Ware is responsible for overseeing the corporate accounting team and preparation and review of all entity financials while ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting standards throughout the Liberty Group portfolio.

Mr. Ware is a Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive (CHAE) with more than 30 years of international hotel accounting experience. His background includes serving on the corporate accounting teams at Interstate Hotels & Resorts and Meristar Hotels & Resorts.

Mr. Ware graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, and has served as the president of the Hospitality Financial & Technical Professionals Association.

Phil Tandet

Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations of Liberty Group, Mr. Tandett is responsible for the overall operational performance across all hotels within the Liberty Group portfolio.

Mr. Tandett has been an integral part of the Liberty Group team for nearly 20 years, having previously served as an General Manager, Project Manager, and Area Operations Manager throughout the United States.

Mr. Tandett has extensive experience across Intercontinental, Hilton, and Marriott full-service and select-service brands and has earned brand accolades for his performance including several Intercontinental Torchbearer awards. 

Samantha Watkinson

Analyst

As an Analyst for Liberty Group, Ms. Watkinson works with the hotel management team to identify efficiencies and provide proactive operational support.

Ms. Watkinson is also responsible for project management funding schedules, and has extensive financial experience with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations throughout West Florida.

Ms. Watkinson earned a Bachelors degree in Finance and the Most Outstanding Graduate Award from the University of South Florida.

David Marinich

Project Manager

As the Project Manager for Liberty Group, Mr. Marinich is responsible for project and construction management of renovations and capital improvements across all hotels within the Liberty Group portfolio. Mr. Marinich serves as an Owner's Representative on projects ranging from minor brand-required updates to complete repositioning activities. 

Mr. Marinch is a seasoned hospitality professional with more than 20 years of Hilton, Marriott, Intercontinental, and Choice brand experience. 

Manuel Leonor

Facilities Supervisor

As the Facilities Supervisor for Liberty Group, Mr. Leonor is responsible for implementation and execution of preventive maintenance, renovation projects, and capital improvements across all assets within the Liberty Group portfolio.

Mr. Leonor has extensive hands-on experience with commercial real estate renovation and construction.

Office Manager

As the Office Manager of Liberty Group, Ms. Osbahr is responsible to support the management and leadership teams at the corporate office in addition to serving as executive assistant to the Executive Team.  

Administrative and Operations Team:
